I now know what reverse culture shock is. After living in Cusco for two months and then moving to Quito, the capital of Ecuador, it was quite different. At first I partially felt like I was back in the U.S. because everything in Quito is so much more modern than in Cusco. I realize how special Cusco really is. On top of that, I have not yet mastered goodbyes so I am really missing my Cusquenanian family.
Since I have not written in about a month, I am going to show how my last couple of weeks were in Cusco through a slideshow. I will fill in the gaps through commentary and write about Quito because my camera broke a couple of days before I arrived in Quito.

Quito has been quite a change from Cusco, the school included. The school here is a bit more rigorous than the school in Cusco and the structure is different. We have grammar lessons in the morning and in the afternoon we watch a section of a movie and discuss it. Then, we have group activities to practice our Spanish. Also, I have to take two buses to school unless I want to walk 45+ minutes. Overall, I am still getting used to Quito but Ecuador itself is a beautiful country.
